This is a recorded announcement, as I'm afraid we're all out at the moment. The commercial council of Magrathea thanks you for your esteemed visit, but regrets that the entire planet is temporarily closed for business as a mark of respect for our eminent friend Douglas Adams.
If you would like to leave your name and the address of the planet where you can be contacted, I'm afraid you're out of luck. Our answering system was (against common sense and advice) designed by an intergalactic programming company called "Microgates", which, of course, means it's full of bugs and refuses to work. We have tried to reason with it but, it's extremely uncooperative. A recent visitor, who went by the name Zaphod Beeblebrox, did suggest a remedy involving an axe, unfortunately he and his companions left in a hurry before he could explain the technique required.
Sorry about that but, I'm sure if you return in the future, we will have replaced the old system with something that works.
THANK YOU.
The probablility of your visit is 1:
Normality will be resumed as soon as we figure out what normal is.
